Knee replacement AND S/I fusion surgery

Dr Limoni replaced my husband’s knee many years ago with wonderful results. Then, it was my turn to need his expertise. I had suffered with lower back pain for 18 years, until Dr Limoni performed 2 bilateral S/I fusion surgeries, 6 weeks apart. My pain went from a 9/10 to 0. I have had no pain since the surgeries.
I then had to have my knee replaced and, once again, the results were/are wonderful. I will need my other knee replaced and there is no surgeon that I would consider except Dr Limoni. His nurse, Denise, is an added plus. Her compassion and kindness is a real plus. I have known of many orthopedic surgeons, but none with the expertise of Dr Limoni. Thank you for the great care.

I had a total knee revision done on 09/29/2025.
I can’t believe the difference I’m 6 weeks post surgery and have 105 degrees and getting better every week.
I have very minimal swelling and couldn’t be happier with this surgery!

Total knee replacement

I was amazed at my quick recovery! I followed all instructions from the therapist and doctor. I went out to eat, walking unassisted in under two weeks post op. I had minimal pain . Dr. Limoni and his excellent staff are caring individuals who go the extra mile to be sure you have the very best outcome from your surgery. I've been telling everyone about Dr. Limoni and the Jiffy Knee. I won't hesitate when my other knee needs an upgrade.

I am very satisfied with my anterior left hip replacement surgery. Dr. Lemoni was very easy to talk to. He was very informative and offers a joint camp class where he and his staff explain the procedure. All questions were answered and put my mind at ease. He is a very compassionate surgeon and I’m glad I found him to do my surgery. My postop recovery has been amazing. I’m 7 weeks out and doing great!

Very happy

I'm 5 weeks out from my Jiffy Knee and I'm very happy with my results. Never did PT, just back in the gym doing workouts. I can walk better now than I did before surgery. The first two weeks were a bit rough, just rest and recovery, but every day improving. I will be back for my right knee when it needs it. Thank you Dr. Limoni, Denise and staff for wonderful care

First Class, 5 Star Service and Care from Start to Finish

From the time that I first met Dr. Limoni and his team I was treated with respect and genuine care. Dr. Limoni reviewed my MRI and Xray's with me and then went over the procedure to give me a great understanding of what I was in for. Next his team took over and and did all the scheduling from pre op visits, to the surgery, post op visits and Physical Therapy visits. I was skeptical about the "Mandatory Joint Camp" that I had to go thru but, after attending the class I had all of my questions/ concerns answered. During the class Dr. Limoni showed us the parts of the new knee and the tools/equipment that would be used. His nurse did an outstanding job of preparing us for post surgery care at home. During my surgery the Dr. and his team kept my wife informed of the progress every step of the way. After the surgery I followed the post op procedures for pain management, icing and elevating the knee. I was off the pain meds in 3 days. I was also able to stop using the walker and just use my cane after a week. By the end of week 2 I was able to walk without the cane. 2 weeks after the surgery I started using the CPM machine and attended Physical Therapy. By the end of the 4th week I was able to go Golfing..... I cannot thank Dr. Limoni and his team enough. the only question I have is "Why did I wait so long to have this done???

Beyond Words

Dr Limoni and his care team are incredible people. After suffering from incredible knee pain and mobility issues, including multiple opinions from other orthopedic doctors for the past three years, Dr. Limoni was the only doctor who would prove to be the right doctor for my knee issues. He was able to diagnose the problem and explained what he could do to improve my quality of life with a knee revision. My post-surgery recovery has been nothing short of a miracle. My pain level from the surgery and my physical therapy visit have been truly remarkable. My pain level was considerably less than what I expected, and my physical therapists have been impressed with my recovery so far. Dr. Limoni and his experience using the Jiffy Knee in his patients is why I am beyond words for what he has done for me. Hopeless to Optimistic

Over a year of unbearable pain that went from using a cane to using a walker. Completely debilitated. Then I meet Dr. Limoni and the entire care team. The process of finding I needed to have right hip replacement was lengthy only due to my insurance. Dr. Limoni helped me navigate all I needed to successfully get the surgery. Yesterday was my 6 week post op follow up. I have no pain other than if I over do it because I think I can. But even then it’s just an annoying pain that my body is telling me to slow down. I am so incredibly grateful for Dr Limoni’s empathy, patience, and compassion for wanting to ensure the success of my healing journey. The entire care team not only helped me overcome the pain physically but also mentally. I can’t recommend any higher degree of care than Dr. Lumoni. My X-rays yesterday showed perfect alignment. Going from hopeless to optimistic now is beyond my wildest dreams. I’m back to doing the things I love and getting better every day physically and mentally.

I am 8 weeks post-op tomorrow. Dr Limoni did the Jiffy Knee approach surgery on my left knee and did a great job! I was released from him at 5 weeks with a 6/120* bend. Days 3 and 4 were the worst for pain, then subsiding after that. Denise Barnes, his nurse, did an excellent job facilitating the whole process! The staff at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc was excellent as well!

I’m not one to normally leave reviews but this is a case where Dr. Limoni deserves recognition! I went to him in 2024 with severe knee pain in both knees affecting my everyday life. We tried the process of injections etc to no avail. We then discussed total knee replacement using the “Jiffy knee”. I’m also not one for surgery but his professionalism and confidence assured me this was the route to go. Now moving forward June 2025 Dr. Limoni performed the surgery on knee #1. All I can say is WOW. What a difference. Followed therapy to a T and home exercises and I was immediately moving around. Then August 2025 he did knee # 2. Went just as smooth. I could not be happier or ask that anything been done differently. I’m literally 3.5 months out from my first knee and 7 weeks out from the second knee. I have full mobility and walk around without the use of any assistance. I’m still attending therapy and following strict homework which all helps in the healing. Dr. Limoni is nothing short of amazing. If you are thinking about knee surgery look no further and I can assure you that you will be happy with the outcome he can provide. I also followed his pre surgery medication, vitamin, and protein regimen. I’m so happy I’m no longer having to live in severe pain and can get around and do the things I enjoy.
