Wonderful Results

I had my knee replacement by Dr. Limoni in May of 24 so coming up on two years. I have had awesome results.
First I want to say the surgery and recovery were very easy & very little pain do due Dr. Limoni' s prep and instructions. I had a nerve block a week prior to surgery and then followed his instructions for staying on top of pain ensured no issues. I believe his approach to getting knee moving with the use of the in home equipment is key. Allowing you to stay elevated to reduce swelling while still exercising the knee. I know many who have had knee replacements with other surgeons without the use of the in home equipment provided and their outcomes are not as good or as rapid. I am able to kneel,scrub my kitchen floor on my knees ,excercise ,ride my bike,dance (even polka)and do anything my 69 year old body will allow. I can't say enough about how well my knee replacement experience was with Dr. Limoni. He ensures you are educated in the surgery,also in the before and after care which all helps in having a good attitude and great results going into your knee replacement. Left total knee

I had a left total knee replacement using the Jiffy approach in December 2025 with Dr. Robert Limoni. In my opinion, my experience with the process was flawless. The staff at the Neuro spine Center in Appleton are very experienced. All my questions preoperatively were answered to my satisfaction. Being an operating room nurse for 25 years that was very important to me. I knew exactly what questions to ask. As the day of surgery approached to Denise, RN had me well prepared with a timeline of what I could expect in the month or so to come. Medication’s for postop ordered and a packet of information was sent. There was always an open line of communication with her. The day of surgery was a breeze. Everything was spot on.. I felt very prepared. Surgery went well. I was walking up the stairs in the hospital and feeling fine right after surgery. I was on my way home by 2 o’clock. Progress has been remarkable. The inkwell system has made Physical Therapy very easy from home. I am six weeks postop now and I feel great. The pain that I had right after surgery was nothing more than a dull toothache the medication that was given to me took care of that. Also, I had my right knee done the conventional way eight years ago.. I can say that compared to the Jiffy Knee,the conventional knee gave me a lot more pain and recovery was a lot slower. In my opinion, I think the Jiffy knee is the way to go. I will be playing pickle ball by the beginning of April thanks to the speedy recovery the Jiffy knee and Dr. Lamoni. In my opinion, I think the Jiffy is the way to go. I want to thank Dr. Robert Lemoni, his staff And the entire day surgery team at Manitowac holy family Memorial Hospital total overall experience was great. Five stars could not ask for better thank you.

I had a total knee replacement with Dr. Limoni in mid December. Dr. Limoni and the supporting staff were all knowledgeable and caring. I felt like I was being treated like a good customer. That is not something you get at every medical facility so I do appreciate it. My knee replacement was successful in every way that I know of. After 20 days I was finished with the walker. After 30 days I use the cane when I go outdoors. I walk with a bit of a limp indoors, as I still have much Therapy to continue. I still have strengthening to continue to work on but that is completely normal. I expect that to last some months. Note that the patient has some responsibility in making this surgery a good experience. Most importantly sticking to the program that physical therapy provides. Very important! You might not have the same experience I had but you will have the best experience you can if you follow P.T. directions. It's a five star review from me.

Relief at Last!

It can be difficult choosing an Orthopedic Surgeon to be trusted to perform a total Hip Replacement, especially at age 74. After researching doctors and word of mouth recommendations, I felt confident in reaching out to Dr. Robert P. Limoni. The first time I met him after making an appointment in a timely manner, I knew I made the right decision. He listened attentively, answered questions that I had, and explained things in a way that I could understand. He told me that I was going to a “ hip and knee joint replacement camp” that sparked my interest and would answer any questions that any of us in the group had regarding a future surgery. The nurse navigator set up the appointments that I needed to fulfill before surgery. Surgery day went smoothly and I was able to go home that afternoon to begin my at home recovery. Dr. Limoni checked in with me before and after surgery and his calm, pleasant voice, let me know that I would be alright. He does have a good sense of humor too! I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Limoni to anyone wondering about choosing an Orthopedic Surgeon to give them “ Relief at Last!” Gratefully, Mary Jo Matthies

Knee revision

I could not be happier with the results of my revision surgery. From the initial visit through surgery, PT and follow ups, everything has been top shelf. The staff at the surgical center was outstanding. 7:00am surgery and I walked out of the building at 12:30pm! Since this was a revision for me, I had expectations based on my previous procedure. I was amazed at the amount of movement and muscle control I had right after surgery. The Jiffy knee procedure by Dr Limoni is THE way to go. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Improved my Quality of Life

Thanks to Dr. Limoni for his expertise in successfully replacing my left hip 5 years ago. As a result, I recently was able to earn my black belt in Taekwondo at the age of 71. Dr. Limoni was also able to control my knee pain, which enabled me to perform at a high level to achieve my goal.

Jiffy knee replacement

I would definitely recommend Dr Limoni, his nurse Denise and PT Haley. They were absolutely amazing from the first appointment to the last one at 8 weeks PO. I had a traditional knee replacement 2 years ago. The difference is night and day. I was able to go up and down stairs normally by 4 weeks. I only did PT at home with Haley calling weekly and adding exercises a few different times. I love the new technology of the Inkwell tattoo that let them monitor my progress, including your flexion, extension and swelling. If you are considering a knee replacement I suggest having Dr Limoni do the surgery.

I had Dr Limoni do a jiffy knee replacement in November 2025. Before my surgery, Dr Limoni and Denise answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable with my decision to have it done. I was able to go home the same day of my surgery also which made me extremely happy. Aftercare was amazing. Denise called me a few times to check on me and answered any of my questions. At home therapy was great. Haley called me weekly to check up on me and answered any questions that I had. I would highly recommend Dr Limoni and his team as being all friendly, professional and highly supportive throughout the process.

Knee replacement AND S/I fusion surgery

Dr Limoni replaced my husband’s knee many years ago with wonderful results. Then, it was my turn to need his expertise. I had suffered with lower back pain for 18 years, until Dr Limoni performed 2 bilateral S/I fusion surgeries, 6 weeks apart. My pain went from a 9/10 to 0. I have had no pain since the surgeries.
I then had to have my knee replaced and, once again, the results were/are wonderful. I will need my other knee replaced and there is no surgeon that I would consider except Dr Limoni. His nurse, Denise, is an added plus. Her compassion and kindness is a real plus. I have known of many orthopedic surgeons, but none with the expertise of Dr Limoni. Thank you for the great care.
