I had a total knee replacement in November 2024 with great results. Dr. Limoni and his staff are experienced, professional, caring and understanding. I would highly recommend anyone having knee problems to check him out. My husband and I have both used him and I will be having my other knee done in March 2025.

Excellent surgeon and excellent care!

Dr Limoni replaced my knee- they were able to get me in for surgery very quickly and the service and care they gave me could not be better. Denise took care of everything for me and Dr Limoni’s surgery turned out very good! Any questions I had after the surgery were answered immediately and he even called me personally to check on me post surgery. I cannot say enough good about him and his staff. I would not hesitate for one minute to have him do my other knee if and when the time comes.

Second TNR

I had a right knee replacement 11 years ago in IL. The overall experience was extremely painful with a recovery time of over 18 months before I could comfortably walk due to continual (non-infection related) post operative inflammation/scarring.
Consequentially, I resisted surgery when my left knee critically needed replacement, and I was heading towards becoming housebound. I sought out Froedtert Ortho care. Dr. Limoni and his team did a thorough explanation and organizing of pre and post op procedures.
I can’t speak highly enough of the Manitowoc Holy Family Memorial surgical team. I am especially impressed with Dr. Limoni's continual research and striving for improved patient outcomes. Unlike my prior surgery, I didn’t feel as if I was on an operating room assembly line.
As a retired RN and personal experience with knee replacement, I would strongly recommend Dr. Limoni.

KNEE REPLACEMENT

I had my right knee replaced January 2024 and the left knee replaced November 2024. The total experience was fantastic! Dr. Limoni is an excellent surgeon. His support staff are very knowledgeable and friendly group of people. Dr Limoni is very good at making sure you have all the information and support for a successful surgery and recovey.

Replacing the replacement

Eleven years ago, I had both knees replaced ! Something happened way back then and I have had a tightness and constant pain in both legs! This September, I stood up and could not put any weight on my left leg! I suffered for a week and made my appointment with Dr. Limoni. I was totally surprised to find out that my left knee joint was a mess!! He advised me to have it replaced again or I would probably end up in a wheel chair!! I did not need much time to make a decision! He came highly recommended by all I talked too!! The surgery went well, the recovery went well, the therapy went well and I am moving around better than ever! Even my right knee is working better! Dr. Limoni is a caring person. I felt that at our first meeting!! His staff is also great! The care I had at Froedtert Holy Family was exceptional ! This was such a different experience than 11 years ago !! I am extremely gratefull to All involved!!!

Great experience

From the first visit to final post op meeting, Dr Limoni and his staff were very professional, knowledgable, friendly and precise. My left knee replacement was such a great experience that I have my right knee scheduled to be done in the fall. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr Limoni is terrific. Five star rating isn’t high enough.

Left knee replacement

Dr. Limoni from onset got my respect. He is innovative and keeps up with the times. I think what was key to my recovery was the first two weeks. He had me stay home, no therapists came to me and I did exercises he told me to do. I had no pain at all from day one. I was discharged from hospital same day after only being in a total of six hours. When people ask if I wished I would have had surgery sooner (diagnosed quite some time ago) I honestly answer them - no way because I wouldn’t have known about Limoni. So I’m less than six weeks out and can do the things I love like biking, walking.
