Total Hip

Professional, effective & efficient. Had a total anterior hip replacement. Less than 2 hour surgery, incredibly pleasant experience at Holy Family in Manitowoc. Less than 2 days on pain meds, walking stairs in 2 days, back to work as instructor in less that 4 weeks. Completely released in 5 weeks. The incision is ridiculously small and almost unnoticeable. Dr. Limoni & the entire team were very up to date with procedures & technology and I can say without hesitation that my results have been so much better than anticipated, especially when compared to the many similar aged buddies who have gone through posterior replacements. Nothing but praise for the entire team, I am so grateful for their passion, skill, and professionalism.

Excellent Care and Communication

Dr. Limoni took the time to discuss good and bad with surgery. He allowed time for all my questions and concerns. He addressed all of my questions with honest answers and I felt he has my well being in mind.

I have nothing but positive comments and praise for the entire process for my hip replacement. In both the clinic and the hospital all employees actually seemed genuinely happy to talk to me. I am at the 6 week mark now and all is going great. I was able to go home the same day as surgery. I needed a walker for 2 days and a cane for 4 more. After that I have been able to walk on my own. I can’t say enough about all the great people that took care of me. Thank you for making my first surgery a success.

I had a knee replacement 3 years ago. I had alot pain. Tried to get in yo see the the surgeon and I was sent to his PA and they would tell me it was hip so, I was having pain reliever shots . It didn't help. When I seen my primary doctor she recommended me to see another surgeon. At my first appointment was with doctor Limoni. I told him was what had transpired through with the other surgeon. He asked me to walk for him. He checked my knee and said itshouldn't move like that. He ordered an e-ray. When the x-ray came back his hunch was right. Oct.16,2023 I had my revised knee done. He also has has an amazing team. He has patents out there there to help make orthopedics equipment better for the patients and doctors during surgery. I would recommend Dr Limoni to my family,friends and co-workers. Dr. Limoni is a pioneer in joint replacement surgery. Incredibly smart and is always looking for a better, more pain-free way. This was my second hip replacement in 4 years. This recovery has taken half the time with no need for PT. Simply outstanding.
